Oh, and the video is pitch-perfect and absolutely beautiful. Clearly a photographer turned videographer (Andrew Droz Palermo), as the lighting setup/set design is gorgeous AND efficient. Watched this on the HDTV/Mac Mini/Boxee setup that I helped my sister put together when I was going through Boston a few weeks back, and it was stunning in Vimeo HD at 42”.

I haven’t heard a ton of new music that’s stuck with me lately, though I do like some overall trends and directions. This track, recommended by a friend, is an exultant exception to that pattern. You couldn’t name a track more perfectly.
