I’ve been putting a whole lot of thought into the creation and manipulation of imagery, starting from photography but spidering out into web presence, video, and performance…and nobody was more unique and fascinating than Black Sabbath. Doing something new that would be painfully imitated right to the present day, but you can just tell they mean it…and couldn’t do it any other way. Ozzie, being Ozzie, before his reality tv incarnation made us feel so ambivalent about him.
