More About Me

If you weren’t inspired by Barack Obama’s nomination acceptance speech, then your mind has already been made up to vote against him and I won’t waste any further time trying to convince you. For the first time in my decade as an adult, I will be voting for a Presidential candidate, not against the guy who I’m more disillusioned with. For twenty years we have seen Bushes and Clintons in the White House and Americans have come to believe that elections are about picking the safer candidate. This is finally coming to an end, and even an incredibly cynical guy like me, whose views probably tilt anarchist-libertarian as much as anything and who has worked directly in the Washington culture that Obama is rightly decrying, is optimistic about the future.
