Tar Sands: The Most Destructive Project on Earth
Pretty horrible story being reported here about the Alberta tar sands project, including the fact that “Producing a barrel of oil from the oil sands produces three times more greenhouse gas emissions than a barrel of conventional oil”.
Also, it’s probably a negative when two former workers chime in to describe the project’s atmosphere as being like “Mad Max” and/or “Mordor”. Yikes.
