Hmm…I’m not particularly happy with this. Get Smart is an all-time classic, and as much as I like Steve Carell, he can’t possibly match Don Adams. This feels like the Willy Wonka remake - I love Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, but they couldn’t live up to the original and ended up with that abortion of a movie. I’m also really disappointed with the Anne Hathaway as 99 casting decision…weak substitute for the underrated Barbara Feldon.
Oh well, I’ll probably go see it anyway.
