British producer Nigel Godrich has created a show called From the Basement, which will consist of short sets of his favorite bands. The first episode shown in the UK included The White Stripes, The Shins, and Neil Hannon of the Divine Comedy.
Apparently it will start showing in the U.S. on the Rave HD channel, which I can’t seem to find. The iTunes videos seem to be only short clips. I’ll need to get to the bottom of this…
Edit: Rave HD is shown only on the Dish Network and Cablevision in the U.S., as it apparently was part of that whole Voom mess. Looks like some more digging will be necessary.
