So I’ll be spending the better part of the next month on tour with a friend’s band, cramped in a van full of people and instruments, crashing on couches in cities from Minneapolis to DC, taking a few thousand photos (and maybe some video) to document the tour, and generally immersing myself in the experience.
I’ll post more before I head out (and hopefully during if my Mini 9 doesn’t die on me), but I’m in a particularly good mood here in Massachusetts at 2am on a Tuesday…and also, given that half of my Tumblr followers seem to be a world away, to point out while you’re awake that they’ll be opening for New Zealand’s own The Veils, who I’ve been obsessed with for about a year and a half….seriously, I willed this pairing in my mind…beware the power.
