Putin Suggests U.S. Provocation in Georgia Clash
“…Mr. Putin’s comments in a television interview, his most extensive to date on Russia’s decision to send troops into Georgia earlier this month, sought to present the military operation as a response to brazen, cold war-style provocations by the United States....

Ran my ipod through the washing machine…not good. Just disassembled it and put it in the oven at 170 degrees for an hour, hopefully the hard drive managed to remain sealed. The battery might be ok, the power was off and it hasn’t been started up since I realized my mistake, so I’m hoping there hasn’t been a short. I don’t really know what effect the laundry detergent...
Baseball

I think I need to stop watching baseball. Something happens to me when the Yankees play the Red Sox, specifically, when they lose to them. I just never knew I was capable of so much hate, I’m starting to think I’m a bad person.

Missed this show, and definitely missed this video. I’m impressed they were able to get even this much detail in there, it’s always so damn dark on that stage.

Just found out about this little project, a Muxtape-inspired interface for a user’s audio posts on Tumblr. The formatting on the top gets a little torn up by my last.fm widget and the color is hideous, but I really like this overall. Best viewed on a widescreen monitor, as the layout is pretty wide (I’d guess about 1200px off the top of my head?).
